U.S.A. Florida

Just curious as the how's the job market and pay? What school did you attend and how long do it take you? Im working on my LPN and had plans to bridge at SSC but that bridge program was discontinued. Polk state and VCC im thinking with either become even more competitive or follow suit. Anyone working on BSN ? If so or did where did you go? Im in central florida looking for suggestions.

Job market is tough but you only need one job. Around me (Brevard county) the hospitals no longer hire LPNs. New RN grads get $20/hr as an average. Nursing school was 5 semesters. One campus starts in January and graduates the following August. The other starts in August and graduates the following May.

This is only for nursing classes. You must have all your associates classes finished before you graduate or the school will not send your info to the state board of nursing. No info to the state means you can't sit for the nclex, no nclex means no RN.
