I saw this done on the nursing student forum and since I'm a new LPN and still a student for my RN I thought it would be cute to do here too.

You know you're a new nurse when...

You have to stay over for at least an hour every shift to finish your charting. :throcomp:

You wake up in the middle of the night and remember something you didn't do or pass on in report and call the nurse to tell her.

It takes you almost twice as long as a veteran nurse to do your med pass. :scrm:

You get a personalized liscense plate to let the world know that you're finally a nurse. :prdnrs:

You know every way your new admit can go down the tubes, and develop OCD trying to catch them before they even THINK about getting sicker.

you have a huge tote with NURSE plastered across the front of it.

You get your first full time nursing check and it's the biggest paycheck you have ever seen.
