I just want to cry!! I went straight to the mall for a little retail therapy and to keep myself from thinking about it... I feel horrible. I don't know why, but I was just convinced that I would only have 75 questions... after 100 I started to panic... then I took a deep breath, counted to 10 and just kept going. Shut off at 131, although mentally I feel like I never turned on.... I started getting really tired at the end, and the questions just kept getting harder.... I swear I had at least 10 select all that apply questions, and the majority of my questions were prioritization.... I did not feel like a single question was "easy." I was able to narrow them all down to 2 options, but I felt like I was just guessing after that point.... Please everyone pray that I survive the next 2 days of waiting (luckily Texas IS a quick result state (if you consider 2 days quick). I'm so glad I took it on a Monday, the proctor of the exam said 2 business days, I hope they aren't counting tomorrow as a holiday.... I think I'm going to explode!!! My fiance gave me my valentines day gift early - mani/pedi and tanning, so I just need to keep my mind off that god-awful test.

Pray for me, I don't think I could handle that again!

I just can't wait anymore!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to crack a bottle of champange to celebrate being an RN.... I'm so scared, I am a good test taker and that was torture!!

If anyone has any good distraction suggestions I'd love to hear them!

Thanks for listening

Rachel

You are not alone! I took mine this afternoon and had about 100 quetions. Most of which were prioritizing! I have a feeling that I really suck at that. I had 5 SATA and 4 dosage calculations. It absolutely sucked!!! I was able to narrow the answers done to 2 and guessed from there. It really does suck because I feel that I failed.:scrm:Guess we'll see in a couple days - now we just need to keep our minds off of it and try to keep our hearts in our chests and stay sane! Good luck to you!

:cheers:Here's to doing our best!

Good luck to you too! I heard that feeling like you failed is a good sign because of the CAT... hopefully that's alright.

i said a little prayer for you i rem i was freakin out thinking i failed when i took mine and i passed.... let us know how you did!!

I took the NCLEX this morning as well. I totally was not expecting the CAT to shut off at 75 questions and it did. So, I'm in the same boat. At first I felt O.K. about it but now I'm positive I failed.

All I can do is wait. I've rented a ton of flicks, have poured a glass of wine and am ready to forget all about it (for at least the next 4- hours).

I'm sure you did fine.

Hey I completely understand how you feel. I took my test last week I was very disappointed when I went up to 230 questions. I cried my heart out tossed my cookies twice that day. But the next day I tried to convince myself that questions over 75 was not an obstacle but an opportunity for me to get more chances to pass. Well I found out on Feb 8 that I passed. Just hang in there think positive because there is know going back whats done is done. I know I know you are probably saying easy for you to say. But I've been right where you've are. Stay positive babe:up::wink2:

Did you check your quick results yet? How'd it go?

I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm an RN!:yeah: Thanks for your support!! I think that was the hardest couple days ever! Thank God Texas is a quick result state!!!

:ancong!:

Thank God for quick results is right! I passed too!!!!

:chrs: To a job well done!!!

I knew you passed you sounded just like me. Thank God. Congrats to you and may God Bless!!!!

Congrats!!!!

Just an FYI for all those waiting for results. I personally think that if you are getting a lot of prioritization questions your on the right tract.. Seems to me when I took mine thats all i was getting!!!! Just my opinion dont take it as fact!!!
