Quick Resume Question

  1. GREETINGS
I WANTED TO KNOW FOR THOSE WHO SUBMITTED A RESUME FOR THEIR JOBS, DID YOU PUT ALL OF YOUR EDUCATIONAL HISTORY (EX, HIGH SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITIES ATTENDED) OR DID YOU JUST PUT THE SCHOOL OF NURSING THAT YOU GRADUATED FROM?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR REPLY!

As someone who reads resumes, I say, "Include all of it beyond high school." Because everyone with a college education graduated from high school, it is not necessary to put that on unless there was something very unique about it. If you are still in your early 20's, you might want to put something about high school if it shows exceptional talents, leadership, etc. However, most adults drop the high school stuff after they have graduated from college.

However, I would always include your education and any major accomplishments of adulthood -- which usually includes all college level education and experience.

I put down my college level education only. I looked at a few copies of sample resumes from my universities carreer services center and they give some nice formats to relate to when doing your own resume. Include any work experience related to nursing and any activies whether in school or out of school. Good luck!
