I'm just so happy that I want to announce that I am now and officially a Registered Nurse. After taking the NCLEX-RN 6 times I finally passed it. Took my 6th and final test last November 12, 2014, 265 questions for 5.5 hours.

I'm 40 y/o, husband and a father of two.

1st to 3rd exam I was self studying, reading Saunders and Pharmacology books. Not studying consistently. 4th to 5th exam I did a one on one review with a Nursing instructor at a local Starbucks. Relied on the review itself, only did 100 questions of Saunders CD.

What I did differently on the 6th exam is really prepare for it. Physically, mentally and emotionally. I took time off form taking the exam. Relaxed and enjoyed my family. I lost 30 lbs and started eating healthy. Exercised daily and stopped drinking alcohol and going out to parties.

I already had my eligibility on hand. Scheduled a review class with Worldlink review in Norwalk, CA. With that I processed my ATT and scheduled a date for my test.

One month before the review class I was doing QandA of a 100-200/day, Saunders and NCLEX Mastery an APP on my phone. Did the 3 week class review and after that did another 3 weeks of daily QandA of 200-300. I isolated myself from my friends and family for a short amount of time and now I can proudly say I am a Registered Nurse.
