Networking....in another state?

I graduate next month :lol2: and am planning to relocate right away. I even sent my license app to the other state and they're just waiting on my official final transcript with degree posted.

My concern is, every time I have done a clinical rotation in my specialty of choice, at the end of the clinical rotation, I have been told TWICE, at two different hospitals and units, to apply there as soon as I pass NCLEX because they'd love to have me. This doesn't happen to me when I'm working med-surg or something that I can't wait to finish LOL I guess if all else fails, I could stay here for a year and get my new grad stigma out of the way... but I really want to move. I feel like I've done a good job networking here, but I don't have any go-to contacts in another state and have been passed over in my top few choices for new grad programs already (the new grad programs were the main reason I decided to get my license in another state right away, because they begin in January/February and I didn't want to miss out because I wouldn't have my license in that state by the start date!)

Any ideas or advice? :nurse:

Hey! I also am relocating when I graduate. I actually found a group on facebook for the state i was moving to for new grads and talked to some people. One person I became friends with and she is going to put a good word in for me :) Try something like that! Also I would get letters of recommendation from those nurse managers that liked you. That would look really good! Good luck!
