Accepting first offer

Okay, I need some advice here. I was offered a position on friday as an LPN at a ped office, verbally. They have yet to send me the offer to sign. Am I still able to negotiate the wage that was offered? The amount they have offered me is substantially lower than I should be accepting, especially because it is part time with no benefits, and a CNA would make close to the same amount. How do I approach this if its appropriate? Advice?

IMO you should still be able to negotiate the salary until you sign the official offer. Though keep in mind that as a new grad, you don't really have a lot of leverage to negotiate with...unless you have some hidden talent that you haven't mentioned.

Also, keep in mind that doctor's offices/private practices tend to pay lower wages than hospitals do.

Best of luck whatever you decide.
