Nursing Students Excelsior

Hey everyone, I am currently a Respiratory Therapist and am fixing to start the nursing program with Excelsior. After looking over the forum, I notice there are mostly LPN's who are transitioning over to RN. Are there any other RT's out there? And do you think I will be just as successful as a LPN, even though I dont have that background in nursing? I am really excited to start this program, and have even printed out the stugygroup 101 notes for "Transitions". Any success stories of RT's completing this program, or going through it now, would help motivate me :) Thanks guys!!

There will always be more LPNs than anything else in this program -- I thought the same when I went through it as a paramedic. :) There were quite a few RTs who went through EC when I did, and one I know that now works in the ICU at the hospital where I worked before I left for the Army. RTs seem to do very well in EC's program, generally speaking. Welcome to the forum!

I'm a new RT and I'm looking to start the program before October so did you ever start how easy or hard was it?
