    I signed up for the Penn Foster English Comp (ENG100), wondering if anyone can tell me how long to expect to get this completed? And any advice, tips, insight would be greatly appreciated.

    You can literally finish it within a couple hours. You have the book to use to 'reference'. I made an "A". It is super easy.

    Does anyone know for sure if the Penn Foster course satisfies the English Comp requirement for Excelsior?

    I'm doing Straighterline Eng 101, and it is a BEAR! Not really hard, but very tedious, with a ton of papers due... I am struggling to finish it before the end of the 2nd month.

    I had two course approved through Excelsior to take from Penn Foster. One is English100, that is good for the 3 credits of English. The other is English103, which satisfies the Information Literacy requirement. I just started on the English103, and it seems pretty straightforward. Hope that helps !

    Thank you... the Eng103 IS very easy...I wish I had looked into the Eng100.

    Would you mind telling me the cost of the Penn Foster Eng100? The Straighterline Eng101 is $99 a month, so I'll pay $198. The courses are supposed to be $39 each, but I got a coupon/credit after doing the free trial, so it is just the monthly fee. Reading Dave's post above, about finishing it in a few hours... grrrrr.... I was able to do the Info Lit in just a few hours, but I've been slaving over the Eng 101... wishing I had done the Penn Foster... Thanks!
