What is next please?

Updated Sep 05, 2009 at 02:21 AM by nursemomof3boys

I have finally incorporated my home health agency business and got Federal ID number. I have secured location and its already set up. How do I go about getting the required corporate documents, policies, procedures, manuals, day to day office paperwork/forms etc.

Can someone help me move to the next level please.

Thanks

Did you try contacting a company that assists with this? Merricle Rn is all lover this in their website, but... I did find in the past an agency that was set up for facilitating independents and hospitals.

You may need to get legal assistance for your corporation documents depending on what is needed for your location. If you want to do it yourself, NOLO publishes several books on this.

I'd also closely following Medicare's Home Health Agency center : http://www.cms.hhs.gov/center/hha.asp

I typed in "start nurse agency" in the google search box, and came across dozens of websites that assist with this. I have heard from colleagues that Mericle RN is a trusted source of information when it comes to starting a nurse agency or becoming an independent nurse contractor.
