Enterpreneur as a wound care nurse

by Foxfour

Does anyone know if you can be on your own as a (nurse enterpreneur) wound care provider (with MD's orders of coarse)? Thank you in advance for your advice.

Absolutely! I am in Ontario Canada but I know nurses that do wound care as a business. It is a group of 3 ET nurses. I have my own business as well. It takes a lot of work to set up. There are policies and procedures to write, establishing relationships with physicians for orders/referrals, billing procedures as well as all the business stuff. Take your time and do your research. Being an entrepreneur is constant learning.

good luck
