Anyone working in a Casino?Register Today!
- by cristine Oct 27, '00Hi! I am a RN working in a Casino in Canada. We are called Company Nurses, but our main duties are to attend medical emergencies in our Nurses' Station or out on the Casino floor. We are able to give emergency medications and oxygen to stabilize patients while waiting for medical transport. Sometimes it can be pretty scary, weird, frustrating and fulfilling. I would like to communicate with nurses working in simular situations and share experiences.

Even the other nurses wanted to diagnose patients. The doctors were not useful at all, but this was in Atlantic City. It may be better elsewhere.
