I need your wisdom-yet again. My father-in-law just called with some news. I know an elivated PSA level (>4, right?) can mean prostate cancer. But what else would cause a high elivation? Infection maybe? We're taking above 14 here. There is a possibility of a mass in the colon-colonoscopy scheduled. I thought that the PSA only reflected the prostate. Anyone who can enlighten me- I'd really appreciate it. Thanks a bunch guys!
