My clinic uses Baxter Meridians currently we are checking out the Gambro Phoenix as a new choice and also the Baxter that has yet to be released or so I am told the fatina or something like that we will get that one in the next month or so.

Could anyone share any thoughts on the above mentioned machines?

I thank you in advance for any help.

Much Peace ...........

Well I thank you all for your insight tomorow I will try Baxter's "Arena" I'll let you know how it flies but from what little play time I have had with it it seems as though it might be interesting.

Much Peace ..............Billy:cool:

Nice to see someone else who likes the Phoenix! :) Hopefully when we get all the bugs worked out there will be more. :D

i like our phoenix machines also. since we had them upgraded they have been running pretty smoothly!

Did you go from the 3.21 to the 3.25? I have heard a lot of positive feedback since updating to the 3.25.... :D

I recently started back in dialysis after 3yr. absence to get more critical care experience and have had the opportunity to use baxter and "althin" Tina's, now have the pleasure of the Pheonix. I love this machine!!!! We just started a brand new unit and some of the patient's that dialzed on the "tina's" now our with us and they all comment how much better they feel and that there URR's and labs are all much improved as well as essentionally no c/o's of cramping

Is a really nice machine. I've used it, as our dialysis unit bought three of them, and they are very easy to use. They are much quieter than the Cobe and Fresenius.
