So I was a chemistry teacher for 3 years, decided teaching wasn't for me and decided to go back to school for nursing. I'm super excited about this and applying for my program that starts in January.... Anyways, in the mean time I still need a job so I applied to become a tech in a dialysis center and I got an interview for Wednesday! I just got my CNA and my dad did hemodialysis for ~9 year so I am very comfortable with a lot of the terminology that goes along with it and I feel I know more about it than just the average Joe on the street. But no actual experience working dialysis. So my question is any advice for my interview??? I know it's only a tech position but I feel like it would be a great place to get my foot in the door and I really want this job! Thanks!! :)

Review dialysis and terms. It is very trchnical

I currently work as a dialysis tech, and I'm currently going to school to become a nurse. As long as you take the job seriously and take your time you will be fine. You will learn and see a lot and becoming a dialysis tech is a great way not only to get your foot in the door but help you train to be a nurse in the future. Good luck to you :)

Thanks! I think the interview went well but I'm still waiting to hear back.

Good luck! I hope you hear something back soon!
