Hello Fellow FMC Nurses!! Has anyone from FMC Administration parted their lips to say "Happy Nurses Week"?? Nobody has said anything to me. National Nephrology Nurses Day has already passed, and nobody said anything either!!!!!!!! They never say sh*t when you do good, just when you do something they don't like. Just my 2cents worth...

Also,

The day I was assigned to clean all the jugs, and fill all the machines, I had an entire side of the unit to myself, alone. No techs no help.

And remember- I've only been doing this work for 3 and a half months.

Granted, I had only from 2-7 pts in the chairs at a time. but, I was trapped on the floor. I ran out of gloves and had no way to get more. Same w/ bicarb. I can't leave the pts to do it. I was reduced to begging the reuse tech and unit sec'y to get supplies for me as they passed by on their way to lunch.

I work three days a week, and usually get a break only one day out of three, and only if I loudly insist that I get it.

I have been totally stressed out and depressed because of the situation.
