I felt the same way! This is my second interview with parkland and I thought both of mine went really well. I'm SO discouraged as well. It's very difficult for me to travel back and fourth to these interviews on such short notice. I get so excited about them only to find out I made the 6 hour drive back to dallas to discover I didn't get it.

I am sorry to hear that but I truly believe everything happens for a reason and if you didn't get Parkland than something better suited specifically for YOU will be in your future.

I honestly thought I did okay in the interview. I think I may have just shown them how badly I wanted it? I was really nervous though so idk

Well I also got the rejection email..... I guess there's still hope for ER but who knows....

That's a really good idea. I was thinking about doing the same thing but wasn't sure how much they could tell me. I will probably try again, but that's only it they contact me for MICU or ER. Keep your head up! I know it difficult, but take comfort in knowing you're not alone in this. Best of luck to you! And congrats to everyone who made it!

@meraki86... are you a new grad? do you have previous experience in the healthcare industry? do you have your BSN or ADN? i only ask because you seem to be getting interviews, and i want to find out what i need to do to better my chances!!! i am so happy for you regarding the SICU, and wish you much luck in the CVICU (from another thread)!!!
