Generally speaking it would be for a limited term; meaning it could be from 1 to 24 months. It can be termintated at the employers discretion. You should find out what the term is thought to be. It can alos be rolled into a permanent position if their are openings. Usually a position is limited term when someone is out on extended sick, when they return the term ends.

Hi All,
I was wondering if any current California Correctional nurses could elaborate on "limited term" jobs? Would there be a guaranteed amount of time for the position or would it be as needed and could end at any moment?
thanks in advance! :)
