Hi everyone,

Can anyone give me a "feel" for nursing at Waterbury Hospital ? I'm considering a position on Pom 5 but want to make sure I'm not going into a super negative environment.

Thanks! ;)

My SIL who works at St. Marys across the way says its a good hospital which has its good/bad pts. Its a city hospital. Any time we bring pts there they never have a bad thing to say about the hospital. Obviously this has nothing to do with POM5 but overall its a good place to work.

Both St. Mary's and Waterbury are excellent hospitals to work in. They are small enough that the staff all knows each other, but large enough to get some really great experiences out of them. Waterbury is a union hospital, which also has the advantage of job security. I've worked with both directly and indirectly and have nothing bad to say about either.
