UCONN CEIN 2014

Has anyone heard back for the CEIN 2014 class??

All ABSN programs at private schools are at least that much. Pace is 50K tuition only, Quinnipiac is $65K tuition only. Only SCSU, being a state school, is inexpensive at ~18K. That's why the programs at state schools are so competitive - because you are getting the same for half and, sometimes, a third of the cost.

For me, though, there is not time to loose, so I might have to just suck it up and cry later:)

Good luck :) we will definitely become nurses as long as we don't stop pursuing our dreams :)

Avery point campus needs 6 more students. They're calling people on the wait list to ask if they will accept it

Yeah, I am so bummed I can't make it work. Are you going to accept?

I said yes even though it's like an hour and half away from me. But so is Storrs and I don't want to waste another year or applying to other private schools. I hope she will be able to find 6 more students that would accept Avery Points lol

OMG! Congrats!!! I would have gone for it, but I am an hour and a half away too and there is a lot keeping me in the area (family, work that I might be able to do part-time while in school, etc). I thought maybe I can live there during the week and go home on weekend, but they said they have practicals in weekends, so...can't:(((

But really really happy for you!

:) thank you! I am not 100% sure yet since they still need 6 more students to make it works. So I'll continue to pray even more now! :)

I wonder why are there so many spots left at Avery point...HUMMm

But I do hope you will get accepted to your desired program! :) and keep us updated about your application process

It does surprise me since they have waitlists for other campuses. Maybe you should drive up there and check it out in person. But I can't imagine they won't find 6 people, considering how many applicants they get.

I am in the Avery Point class too. The campus is beautiful and from what I've heard they have a brand new lab for the nursing students to work in.

What do you mean "they still need 6 more students to make it work" will they cancel the course if they dont have a full class?

Nevermind, Ignore my last post. I called the admissions lady up at Storrs and she said the course will be held at Avery Point no matter the class size.

...Could you tell I was a bit nervous?

I'm so excited to start this program that I don't want any random road blocks popping up!!

He-he, understand. After what we go through to get in, we can not mess around:)
