Nursing Students CNA/MA

Published

So i've quite recently been in a bind. I recently lost my job, and my financial aid for school. I applied to a few nursing homes that offer paid cna training and the more research I did, the more I've wanted to do this. This week I got two great pieces of news.

1. If, when I can afford to, I transfer schools, the CC across town offers an LPN program and I actually qualify for it! It's a 1 yr program that offers a 1 yr Rn transition program upon successful completion. My current school has been dicking me around with the program requirements all year and I could have been there all along!

2. My wonderful wonderful BF found out that a local center offers a CNA training program in the fall for around 200, so if I don't have any luck with any of the employers I've contacted he's told me he will pay for it.

Long story short, it seems like everythings falling into place, and my life is coming together after all. Its been rock bottom for so long and I'm finally getting another chance!
