Question about failing and then retaking the state test?...

I just took the test saturday and i failed it. I am going to send off to take the test again. What i am wondering. Is there anyone here who has taken the test and failed and then retaken it and passed. Did you have any trouble like finding a job? Does the fact that you failed once affect what the registry says? Like to make you look bad for failing it once. Thanks tammy

Hello,

It won't affect your job prospects at all. The NA Registry simply indicates your eligibility for employment and of course tracks abuse, neglect, etc. Don't be so hard on yourself, you will be a great CNA! As you know, the only penalty for failing the test is the fee required to re-take it! :)

Best of luck,

Mike

I've heard of many people failing and then passing. It happens all the time. The place we did clinicals at said if we're scheduled for an interview and then fail the test just call and tell them. They said that wouldn't affect chances of employment. :)

thanks so much for words of support. I could really use it. I am going to send off the money as soon as i can. I am looking forward to get it over with and start working. thanks again
