i am constantly amazed at what it takes to be a good nursing assistant.

As hard as I try, I just can not seem to be able to do it! Yet I see folk at work do it with apparent grace and ease. Some of them dont love it all that much but are still great at it.

I could not go into nursing because of my limitations, but have not found nursing assisting any less challenging. you folks amaze me over and over again.

All I can say is some people have it and some people don't...but if you really want to do it, then keep trying and ask those you see floating with grace for some tips. I'm sure there are some skills you need to improve upon to become a graceful CNA :)

definitely! gotta dig in and figure it out..I know how to work hard, now I have to learn to work smart...

But still, seeing some really great NAs at work, I just want to commend you all! NAs are so under-rated. I see people who have been doing this well for a long time, but I know the pay scale does not go up that much. And they are so smart. They could be doing something else.
