I have tried everything to get a job even agencies said I needed experience since I only got my license 3 weeks ago. The one agency that did take me the pay is so disturbing but it's a start to get experience. Did this happen to you.

I started out at an LTC facility. I think it's easier to get hired there when you're brand new than at a hospital or agency. Just apply everywhere you can and show interest and initiative. Don't get up! IT seems a lot of people are having this issue lately.

Well I'm taking the job with the agency because I like the facility they are sending me and was the only one out of possible 16 that took me without experience just need my foot in the door & gain experience.

I'm glad you found something! Congrats!

That is the good attitude to have! Some people are not getting jobs because they are limiting themselves to an absolute hourly rate and commute distance, shift, and other factors that they might be able to be flexible with. Once you get a solid years experience someplace, your options will open up. Also, by being in the business, you now get to talk to others (your fellow employees) and you'll hear their experiences, places to work, whats good/bad about some employers, etc.

I started out in an ambulatory clinic, part-time, at a low pay rate. But same thing --- got my foot in the door.......

Try Long Term Care facility. They are always looking for help! Make a day out of it...just don't pick or drop off an app at one facility choose many around you. I got hired the first one I put my app at.
