Looking for free CNA training in Georgia. Any ideas?

As mention before a nursing homes offer free training sometimes. You should also check out the red cross.

Free CNA training is a thing of the past. You should try a private school like me. I actually finished in 4 weeks and got my certification. I went to Dekalb Education Center and they only charged me $450. If you want you can call them at (404) 299-1271. Good luck with your search and I hope you can find the school.

satisfiedgraduate, did it take you a long time to get a job after completing your program? I've read blogs where people have said it's better to go to a technical college, but im not sure. Also, what did the $450 include? (ie; books, uniform, stethascope, etc...)

I was skeptical about the program as well but the admissions rep worked with me and was willing to answer all my questions. And believe me, I had a bunch of questions. The job part was easy because they had a good placement department. I say just give them a call.

In had a great experience with a private school. I went to a smaller school. The class size was smaller about 16 students. The instructor was great!! and really spent a lot of time making sure we were comfortable and competent to take the exam. I think smaller private schools are good it really just depends on what instructor you get will determine how much you learn and how well you do. All together it was about $800.00 not too bad of a price. Red cross charges 1,200 but when you have a good quality program that really preapres you, It is worth it. Dont diss all small schools because of a bad instructor. I have a friend that went to a community college in a big class and she hated it. Sometimes you just get a bad instructor that does not care about you but there are a lot of good ones that do.
