Debating on CNA school. Help!

I've been debating for awhile about going to CNA school or going to college for business.. I know they're completely different. I'm interested in business, but I'm passionate about helping people. I just got accepted into college, and I just had an interview at a nursing home for a CNA class and got accepted. I wanted to do both, but there aren't really any night classes that I could take at college.The CNA class is paid for and they'll pay for my exam. The instructor told me that out of their last class, they hired 9 out of 10 students.

Do you think I should put off college and go for the CNA? It would be nice to get hired and have a job if I do decide to go back to college. I'm really nervous about doing good in the class though. For some reason I'm really freaked out that I won't be able to do things like take a pulse or do blood pressure.. and my mom used to be a CNA and tells me she doesn't think I'll be able to handle it, so not very encouraging.

Classes for both the CNA & college start next Monday & I have no idea.. any advice?

Well it all depends on you. You may want to try it because you will find out if nursing is for you. Most people do the CNA to see if nursing is for them. Some of them continue while others get out while they can. I took the CNA course to see if nursing was for me, and I've decided that I wanted to become a nurse. I hope this helps. do both, if ur just starting college then you need all the basic classes, some should be offered at night.
