Chamberlain College Sept '12

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Hi All,

I will be starting the RN-BSN program this September, wondering if there are any other students out there that might be joining me? It would be nice to make some contacts.

I am really excited about getting started at Chamberlain. I've heard nothing but good things about them from my research and from colleagues.

Yeah, again Chamberlain is great ! After NR351 things get alittle tougher ,but that is to be expected.

Disneyjamie, that is really great to hear. I too am choosing Chamberlain because less classes and out quicker. The price really evens out when you take into consideration all the other classes most programs require. I was just so afraid of making a mistake. They seem VERY helpful and that i loved. Keep me updated on how it goes...it's nice to hear from someone in the same boat. My start date will be in September.

Thanks..it is good to hear that!

Hi All,

Finally, I decided to apply for RN to BSN program @ Chamberlain, and just did my application on line. I hope, can start Sept '12. How fast they evaluate transcripts ? Also anyone from Olive-Harvey? Thanks guys.

I am starting on september 3rd. Is it possible to take more than 2 classes per session? It seems that most people only take 1-2 classes a session but I would like to do more than 2 and don't know which classes to take together.

The max is 2, but I've heard they make exceptions. You would have to petition to take 3 and see if it were approved. Honestly, I'd start with 2 and see how you manage, then if you think it's not too much bump it up. You don't want to set yourself up for failure.

As far as deciding which courses to take together, you can contact the advising center, they will help you.

Krisz, I just started with NR351, and now wished I took 2 classess. That class is very easy. I too, researched a lot of schools and even though Chamberlain may be most expensive per unit credit, there are less classes I needed to take. They are so helpful and available at CHamberlain too! I think you will be glad you chose them.

I also chose Chamberlain because they didn't require as much for me. I turned down the state university because that program would have taken me 2 years, while Chamberlain will take me about 9 months. The accredidations are the same, and the degree is the same... so why spend more time? In the end the state school was more expensive because of the length.
