Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

Hi Soontobea, it will b better for u to finish ur classes and get ur grades, because, hence u get accepted, chamberlain will not accept classes taken after acceptance. So i read in one of the admissions papers given to me. Hope that helps.

I am wanting to apply to chamberlain in atlanta for Sept. Does anyone what are all the steps I need to take and is there a certain number of students that they accept at a time and will i need to take any nursing exam to get in?

Can any current student tell me what the name of the A and P 1 book is and what supplies are needed for the labs......I am waiting for registration but would like to get the books ordered now.......thanks in advance

Hello All! Congrats to all of the soon to be RN's! I have been watching this forum like a hawk for the past two months! I think all of questions have been answered! However I do have a few questions! Are some of you working while in this program because I don't have a choice because I have to take care of myself! Also I am torn between applying for the Sept or Jan start! Reason being is that I am waiting to hear back from a college here locally but I won't hear back from them until the end of Oct! But what if I don't get in to that college!?!? I live in Greenville SC but i do have family that I can stay with in GA. Chamberlain seems easier to get in to. Help me any suggestions?[/quote']

Yes I work still full time and being a mom. I am off Monday through Friday and work every weekend. I have no choice because its just me. It will all be worth it. No lie its hard work and this program will discipline you with time management. Good luck. I can't wait to be finish.

I'm about to sound really crazy, but: I am so nervous for today! I am going to park and ride for the first time ever... And I am all by myself! Part of me wants to drive, because it's EASY, but the cost conscious part of me is thinking about the gas and transit time, and I can't do it! Lol. It's days like today that makes me miss the small quaintness of my hometown. Lol!

Have you checked your emails? You can receive word via email and the title would be [email protected] just receive another email this morning stating my lanyard and I'd bad beholder will be here today....I also got a email of my acceptance letter before I got a call from my advisor ......so keep checking

Okay I think the reason why is because that class will be taught by devry. You get the ebook automatically which is $80 that will be applied to your account.
