I certainly understand your desire to explore the history of the school you are considering and wish you well in finding the information you are seeking.
However, I hope you understand that their past has little bearing on the quality of the school or its future. Once a big corporation buys a school, the school belongs to the corporation and is under the control of that owner. The school belongs to DeVry now, and its history has no real bearing on its future. If you are looking for information to use to help you make your decision ... research DeVry.
I don't mean to imply that I have something bad to say about DeVry, just that it is the owner now and the entity that will be determining the school's current and future policies, quality, etc. I'm always a little wary of for-profit nursing schools
controlled by non-nurses (business people more interested in profit than service), but I have heard nothing negative about DeVry in particular.
