Anyone know how the interview process is for this program? Is it heavy clinical questions or more of the "get to know you" type interiew? How many slots do they have available and is the interview with a group of CRNA/Anesthesiologists? Is the iterview just one day?

Any info would be helpful

Has anyone out there gotten an interview for Samuel Merritt this year?

The interview is very laid back compared to other schools. It is definately a "get to know you" type interview (at least it was last year). The interview panal is composed of staff members, current student, 1 MDA (total of 8). The interview is quite short, maybe 25 min. They normally have about 22 full time slots and 2 or 3 part time slots.

Good luck

I am currently in the program. I had eleven on my interview panel. I agree a get to know you with typical expected interview questions. Make sure you know why you are getting into it and that you know what will be expected of you. Visit the school talk to the staff, if they "know" you it will eliminate cursory questions and allow them to get to the real questions. One last thing, thoughtful, creative and insightful answers count. Remember they ask the same questions to more than 40 other well qualified candidates. I am very happy with my choice for anesthesia school. Good luck
