Midwestern Interview

Yes, I will be interviewing next week as well. I'm very stoked, but anxious at the same time. I don't know how many they are interviewing, and wished that I would've asked as well. I wasn't sure if it was an appropriate question to ask the director of the program. Maybe it would be better to ask one of the secretaries in the admissions office, if they even know. The other hurdle is the length of the interview (6 1/2 hours). Is this typical for the interviews for CRNA school to be of this time frame? No, I didn't receive a letter. I only got a phone call. We are to meet at the Barrel Student Center. The school is on the corner of 59th ave. and

Has that program been around very long? I don't remember hearing about it when I was applying last year. My interviews were both scheduled for a long time. I can't remember, but I think like 1:30 - 6:30. They gave a group overview of the program for about an hour, than they did 15-20min. individual interviews after. After the individual interview you could leave.

The very first question i was aasked in my interview....I will never forget! When I was a lad of 18 far away from home i pulled a whooping 2.2GPA. Guess what the first question was in my interview. Before any inroductions, salutations - anything I was asked "what happened your first year of college"? I thought I was in trouble deep...long story short.....I ended up winning the Outstanding Student Award (Agatha Hodgins)for my class......so hang in there.......this is a exciting time in your life...
