has anyone out there been rejected more than three times and can anyone give me some hope that they have gotten in after two years of applying? I have gotten my first reject letter after spending months on this app, they even required a high school transcript. It is MSA in Mpls and the one I thought I had the best chance of getting into. I can't even apply out of state because right now we can't move. Should I reapply to this school in the fall? I have my app in at 2 other schools now but I don't think my chances are any better with them. I am so sad and bummed that my dream is not coming true after all t he had work and everything i've gone through to get this far.....Big time bummed out :crying2:

I personally didn't get accepted until my 4th year of applying. I spent a small fortune on application fees and traveling to interviews for nothing but rejection letters until my 4th year then I was accepted at 2 schools! My only suggestion is to do everything you possibly can to improve your looks on paper...get your CCRN, PALS, ACLS, ACLS instructor, and anything else you can accumulate into your application packet. When it's your time you will be accepted.

Keep trying if this is truly the path you can yourself doing this. I just started at CCSU and 3 programs use this university in CT. everyone who is in the Memorial program all are mutltiple appliers

Roland hit it on the head. All of those things are good advice. I first applied in 1989 but didn't get in until 2003 (5 time reject), granted I stopped applying for 10 consecutive years. I'm doing very well even if other programs didn't believe I was capable of it.

Find out specifically what your weaknesses are and then what the program director recommends that you do to strengthen those weakness. Then DO it. Program directors want folks who listen to what they advise and do what they say. If you do what they tell you then they will take notice. Many times it seems a little ridiculous what they asked but do it anyway.
