Hello everyone-

I am from Washington State (furthest NW point of USA), and will be attending CRNA school at Barry U in January (furthest SE point of USA).

In addition to all of the challenges of NA school, I am severely geographically challenged. I think I will be living in Hollywood during the program. Any Barry NA students out there have suggestions for good apartment facilities in Hollywood Fl?

Anyone have suggestions about the program in general?

Any SRNA's around the world have pointers for a new student?

They have 86 reviews of apartments in Hollywood that might help you out. In addition to Hollywood, consider living in Davie. Davie is a city a little more north of Hollywood, but south of Ft Lauderdale and west of I-95 by about 4 or 5 miles. It is on the interstate system. One advantage of Davie, is that it is home of four universities, Nova Southeastern University (basically a medical/dental/science graduate school with an ultramodern quiet general library or a separate equally quiet medical library that you could use to study at. All Broward residents can use Nova Southeastern library). Also, in the area of Nova Southeastern University is FIU, FAU and BCC, three more colleges. With all these colleges and universities so close to each other, there is reasonably priced, good graduate housing.

We just got our first mailing from the program. It included an email from me to the program about these message boards. I was also contacted by someone who will be in my class who lives up here in WA.

Liz from your class also hooked me up with some good info about Hollywood.

My wife and I will definately consider Davie as an option.

So much to plan for, in such a short period of time. :).
