As a frequent flier of this forum, I'm hoping it becomes a little more diverse with more professionals chiming in and students from schools other than Frontier.

It just seems like lately it's been all about Frontier this and Frontier that, which is fine, except I'd like to see other people post as well.

If you know any CPMs, CNMs, students, please encourage them to post and participate in this forum.

One idea is I have is to perhaps feature a midwife every month and have them do 'a day in a life of a midwife' thread.

I'll see if I can speak to the mods about this and find one for January.

Thanks!!

I too would like to hear from other folks. I have enjoyed reading the posts by the Frontier folks and have been persuaded by their enthusiasm for the program to apply there. I would like to hear from and about other schools and disciplines as well. JMHO

I agree! I definitely don't want the Frontier students to stop posting, it would just be nice if students from other schools would speak up, too! :heartbeat

I am in the pre-MSN phase of the midwifery program at Marquette. I loved my OB clinicals, and am looking forward to starting the midwifery coursework full time this fall! I would love to hear from other midwifery students or midwives.

What a great idea!

I will say though that the CNMs seem to be fewer in number than other APNs. I am a member of my state's APN organization and we have a meeting in a couple of weeks. Will scope out the CNMs about this....

And....BabyCatcherCNM DID start a thread with her "day in the life of a CNM"
