It seems like CNM's are losing hospital privileges around here in Minnesota due to OB's who do not want to back them up. As a doula, just trying to understand this...is it simple politics? Or is it due to increases in lawsuits? Or pressure from insurance companies? I'm just curious why this is happening. Thoughts???
