RPN Program Books Question...Ontario

World Canada CA Programs

Published

I have a few questions and concerns.

I am a graduate from UW, and Ive noticed that I bought thousands of dollars worth of books, only to crack one or two open MAYBE once or twice.

So my question for those of you who are in the RPN program or have graduated....Which books are an ABSOLUTE must and which ones have you barely touched?

Im paying for everything out of pocket, and I am trying to cut as many corners as I can with books, largely because Ive been through so many instances where I bought expensive books and the professor wouldnt even look at it...Just collected dust. = /

Thanks so much to whoever takes the time to respond to this. Its much appreciated! : )

I cant even imagine how that is. The passion I mean. I graduated, got myself a good paying office job, and HATED every second of it. It was literally all excel spreadsheets and number crunching. Couldnt imagine sitting in a chair all day staring at excel spreadsheets.

Its so wonderful to see someone passionate about their work and it makes me feel much better after quitting my job and embarking on this unknown path.

XD Im dabbling with the RPN program largely because of that. I am interested in nursing, but I did not want to make the same mistake I did previously - go full speed ahead in a 4 year university program - like I did and find out I did not like the job upon graduation. ^__^

So happy to see your passion and everything you get out of your job. Gives me hope! : D
