BCIT Nursing January 2015 Applicants

I decided to start this thread for all the other eager nursing applicants just like myself! I am going back to Capilano University to take some Biology courses (Bio 112&Bio 113), Psychology (Psych 100 & 101), English 100, Sociology 100, and Philosophy 101. This is based on BCIT's new requirement for the 2014 intake! In addition to that, I have also been working for Vancouver Coastal Health as a Health Care Assistant for about 2-3 years now. I am looking at about 45-50 post secondary credits after I finish all the courses at Cap! I might take Libs 7001 on May 2014, then apply for the January 2015 intake!! Anyone else interested in BCIt Nursing program January 2015 intake?

for the facebook group: i think you have to join a bcit group first. then you'll be able to find it :)

Congrats to all of you who have been accepted!

I still didn't hear anything from BCIT admission office at all... it has been painful for the last few day...

So do any of you know why it's still pending now? I didn't see any new mails in my BCIT mailbox.

I'm in the same boat too Do you guys think that they've sent out all of the acceptance offers already? I know the last day they would've let us know was today.

It was in the mail attachment they sent to us, all applicants would be notified today right?...

yeah they said everyone would've been notified as of halloween. Thats okay though! you might get an offer of admission if someone declines or doesn't finish the other requirements before the scheduled time (i.e. CPR, mask fitting etc.)!

I know that is probably the case at Kwantlen atm. I am pretty confident about getting accepted Kwantlen for the January semester as well but I am going to have to reject it because I already chose to go to BCIT instead. Bam! Thats a spot opened up for someone else at Kwantlen, I hope that makes sense. Spots do open!

I am not on Facebook currently so I am sad I can't join the group. I look sooo forward to meeting everyone the first day of classes! I definitely have a busy few weeks while trying to finish up my degree at SFU for December, finishing all of BCIT's requirements for admission and everything else! It will all be so worth it though
