U.S.A. California

Just wanted to know what is like to work at Cedars-Sinai? I know it would be a great to put on my resume and I am ready for a big change, but would not want to leave my current job it is not a good place to work. How's the pay? How does the management treat their employees? How do nurses treat each other? How's the benefits? Do you get called off? Any pros and cons? Anybody that could enlighten me (and others) about working is the hospital.

I forgot to update you. So I got offered the position but turned it down in favor of another position. But I changed my mind and am really wanting to work at Cedars so I called her back and she is re interviewing me (I don't know why we just interviewed in October) for the position again. I think I will accept it this time. I will let you know how it goes.

Hi,

I just finished a video interview with the manager of the floor I am considering. Did you accept the position? How are you liking it so far? I know it is very busy, even the manager had warned me beforehand that it gets very busy. Please let me know what you think of your experience so far!

Cedars is overhyped. There are a ton of ex CS employees who preferred Kaiser LAMC over working there. I personally have worked at Kaiser LAMC/Sunset in Oncology for 6 years and don't regret the experience. I learned a lot without dealing with as much toxicity as I have heard in other LA hospitals. The union at LAMC is great as well (CNA). I am now a Clinical Supervisor for a Home Health/Private Duty Nursing Company. I've done my time in the acute setting. I am now happy in my office job ?  All the stories I've heard from the ex CS employees coincide with what @mclennan had said.
