hey I'm a new grad RN starting at Cedar Sinai medical Center in Los angeles. I was wondering if there is any other New Grad RN's that are starting next monday July 7th. Just wanted to know if theres any here and probably just wanted to say hi and everything.

First of all, congrats for getting into the Cedars ICU new grad program!! I am a new grad also, but not starting at Cedars. However, I worked as a student assistant during nursing school over there in the Saperstein building. I couldn't do the commute for very long (it took me over an hour to get home to the SF valley in the mornings after my night shift). Thats why I'm not starting over there.

Cedars is a great hospital, I'm sure you'll be happy there. Just a little word of advice.... I over heard the staff talking about the new grads in the ICU when I worked there. I heard over half of them quit. I'm thinking the nurses are kinda mean to new grads because they were less than friendly to me. I dunno, but be forwarned and prepared. And don't take anything personally.
