Stanford New Grad RN Residency June 2017

U.S.A. California

Published

There's a very recent thread regarding the Stanford new grad program that begins this month (March 2017), but I thought that it would be nice to start a new one for the people who applied to the next cycle.

Has anyone heard anything from Stanford/have any news regarding the application process for the June 2017 cohort?

Me either :( Some people have started getting calls about setting up interviews.

Out of curiosity, what exactly is a Medicine unit at Stanford?

thanks!

Has ANYONE gotten a call about interviewing? I have not heard anything :( application status still says "considered for future". Do they send an email if you didn't get it?

I heard it's a little bit of everything (PNA, GI bleed, chest pain, etc)! I believe they are a med-surg floor.

I received a call from them on Thursday about setting up an interview with them, but I politely declined as I just started working in the ER at another hospital here in the East Bay. In the voicemail Stanford left me, they said they have a few interview spots left. Hopefully that helps with any info.

I got a call on Friday morning about interviewing for their Surgical positions, even though I put down Medicine.

Nursemc3: I got a call for an interview the 3rd week of March. This is my second time applying, both times I had the "consider for future" status. I don't think I ever got a rejection letter the first time around. You may still have a chance, don't give up yet!

Thank you for answering my question!

When was the application open for the June 2017 cohort?

The application window was 1/30/17 to 2/20/17

Last I heard, they still had slots for the surgical units. Anyone have any interview tips for Stanford?

Has anyone heard back from oncology yet?
