Is anyone else a transfer student and has to make an intent to enroll by May 1? If we don't find out about the nursing program before that I don't know what to do :/ There's probably a deposit you have to make but would you get a refund if you DO NOT get into the program?

it's kinda hard to keep busy when the admission result is the only thing you're waiting for. lol. i am so anxious and driving my partner nuts because of my waiting-for-the-nursing-admission antics. i just hope we all get into the program.

btw, i am also a transfer student. i just got my admission certificate from sac state last week and i didnt pay too much attention to it because i wanted another admission result.

It's worse when you have classes going on! All I wanna do is check my email and this website instead of studying!

omg, that's what i have been doing, too! it's so hard to focus on my classes this semester.

are you guys from the sacramento area?

I submitted my intent enroll and did not have to pay any deposit or fees.

    Lame and Xaireel,

I am on the same page as you. I am constantly checking my email but from what I've read I don't think we will hear anything until the end of the month. Thankfully, school has been my distaction, I would be driving my entire family insane if it weren't for micro lol. If you guys have scores above 60 I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.

I am from the Sacramento area, what about yourself?

I am from Fairifeld and finishing all other GEs this semester so that when I get to Sac State, I only have to take the 3 upper division GEs. I just want to get everything out of the way so that when I get to nursing school, it'll be the only thing I'll worry about. How many points do you have if you don't mind me asking. I applied with an 83, but I am still super paranoid.

Fairfield isn't too far away. Do you plan on moving out here for the nursing program or commuting? Luckily, one of the 3 upper division GE courses is fulfilled by a required nursing class so we technically only have two additional courses outside of the nursing curriculum. The upper division GE courses are all that I will have left to complete also. I applied with 74 points if they include the extra criteria I applied for. Your score of 83 is a GREAT! You will have no problem getting in so there is no need to be paranoid!!! How old are you if you don’t mind me asking. I’m twenty, I feel so young compared to all the people I have meant who are currently applying to nursing school which makes me a little nervous.

@Stephenee, What are the upper division GE courses? We have similar things at CSULB called capstones (we are also required to take 3), but I wonder if mine are transferrable because after this semester I will have fulfilled that requirement for CSULB.

And thanks, I will probably submit that intent in a week or two. Is there a way to withdraw that intent online after you verify it? I am 20 too! If I choose to go to CSUS (if I'm admitted) I'd have to move 6 hours up north! so far!

oh i'm 27. i feel so old now. haha. i think i am going to commute just because it's not that far. i am also so used to the drive because i used to visit my partner all the time when he lived in sac and went to sac state's nursing program. now that we live together, i drive him to work when i don't have class. i already planned out which 2 upper division GEs i am taking so not getting into sac state is not an option. i actually just applied at sac state so your comment kinda made me feel somewhat safe. lol. i can't help but be paranoid until the day of judgement comes and i get that email in my inbox.

How was your partner's experience at sac states program? Is he working now? The program at CSUS is so appealing cause its the shortest of all nursing programs I applied to, but I don't know if I want to move that far. :/

Hi Spiffyness! Sac State does NOT have a deposit! So accepting Intent-To-Enroll costs nothing. I would suggest doing it so you don't get dropped from the university.
