National University Alumni or current nursing students; working while in school?

Hi,

I will be starting National's BSN program next month and would like to keep my current job until the first week of June (when we are scheduled to begin med-surg). I work about 35 hours a week and do have some down time where I can study at work. I am not really worried about days and times of classes interfering with work.

My main concern is being able to balance work and the study load for school. Can any alumni or current students share with me if they were able to work and still be successful in the program or maybe you knew/know someone who has...

Thanx, any suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated.
