Hello, my name is Lance and I am a high school senior, that is ready to go to a community college and I want to go in to their nursing program to be an ADN and also BSN after I pass the NCLEX. Right now, I am attending a high school that has a ROP medical academy, and I am in my fourth year. At my case, I will be a Medical Assistant by the time I graduate from high school after I do my residental hours and pass the test. And I am in HOSA, and since I have a high intrest of doing nursing, I actually placed first in Clinical Nursing event at Sacramento! Clinical Nursing in HOSA was the hardest event because I had to study real hard and I actually enjoyed it! I volunteered at a convalecent home and got hours and I will now be doing a 20 hour program that my academy is offering to add to it as well. Yes, I am taking general education at high school, and I did my three years of math and science. I have taken Honors Biology, Honors Chemistry and Regular Anatomy and Physoology as well. The highest math I have ever taken is Pre-Calculus and I have been doing my general four year english as well. However, I am taking an ERWC course and it is alot of writing and its good for me. Do you also need to take the SAT or ACT to gain entrance to the nursing school since its a community college? Right now, I just want some feedback of how much I can get in to the Mt. SAC's nursing program since I have a high intrest! Thank you and please keep the critisim rolling nurses!
