I have questions about RN Program At Everest College in Ontario

U.S.A. California

Hello everyone!!

I'm new to this site and have been following a lot of you regarding Everest College in Ontario. I was looking to go to West Coast university in Ontario, I had the interview, pass the HESI test and did my financial packet and the FASA and federal loans and I still would of had to pay 83k and need a co-signer which I could get one. So I saw all these post about Everest and I'm thinking this is my best route to go. My question is.....If I already took the HESI test would I have to take it again with Everest College or can I just show them my print-out? Also I put in a call the Everest last week and gave the lady all my info AND I even went on-line and filled out all the info. They have yet to call me back. How long did it take you guys to get in touch with someone over there to get things rolling? From what I have read it looks like in February is when they will start having people take the test and start the process to try and get into the July 2012 RN program. Is that correct?? Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thank you and I look forward in getting to know everyone :yeah:

I'm glad that you got in! I just hate to see people paying so much for their education. I know it is tough to get in to nursing school right now, I was just suggesting to the OP to look in to a CC program first, and then look at other options :D
I think it's smart to consider all options available: public, non-profit private, and for-profit private RN (ADN or BSN) programs. Getting into any RN program is tough! I applied to a handful of various RN programs. I was fortunate enough to get into Everest's program. School is what you make of it. If you're willing to work hard, it will pay off in the end. Hopefully the economy will be better by the time I finish the program in 2014 and there will be more job opportunities for all new RN grads. :)
