Does anyone know anything about Palo Alto VA New Grad RN program, 2013?

Hi, I applied and interviewed for Palo Alto Va. i don't know much about VA hospitals. Does anyone know anything about this specific hospital? What is it like to work there, what are the patients like, the staff, management? Has anyone gone through this new grad program before? I tried to google some information but was able to come up with very minimal information about this hospital and about this new grad RN program. Any feedback would be great! thanks.

What unit did you apply for? How was the interview? I interviewed for their rehab unit. All the nurses that have worked for the VA said it was more relaxed and easy going than working for private hospitals.

That's great to hear! i interviewed for a med/surg unit. I wish there was more information on the web about the actual program. Everyone just talks about application process and interviews, but no one talks about what happens after :nailbiting: lol
