CSU San Marcos ABSN Fall 2013

Hi fellow pre-nursing students!

I'd like to start a thread to those applying or have already applied to the ABSN program for Fall 2013 (Temecula/San Marcos locations)

I personally have not applied yet. I still have Anatomy and Microbiology in progress this Spring semester and will be completing Physiology during Summer. I'd like to apply soon, but quite hesitant since I still have quite a number of courses IP.

I will be contacting an advisor within this week and will definitely update this thread with further information. It might be too early to say, but good luck to all of us!

I also received my acceptance email last week. Congrats!! I was accepted for summer but decided to try and have one last summer break. Glad it worked out! lol I look forward to meeting you and everyone else Good luck to all of you.

Congrats! :) I am hoping that by the time I submit my final scores that they'll give me an answer by the end of June. I JUST NEED TO KNOW SO BADLY!

Oh I know the feeling!! Waiting can be so stressful. Hang in there! Even though your grades will be set in stone, you always have the TEAS test to retry. That would bring me some comfort. Best of luck with everything!

[COLOR=#003366]ehlehnah: yes the fall will be in temecula, they only admit people to the san marcos campus in the spring. temecula admits people in summer and fall.

I was wondering how you got it pushed for another semester instead of the summer? Did you just tell them to roll you over for the fall instead? Just curious.

I'm finishing my prereqs this summer...when would be a good deadline to keep in mind? If I apply this fall 2013, would I be starting fall 2014?

Not necessarily, you could potentially start spring of 2014 if you got your app in early enough

For those of you who have been accepted for the fall 2013 and are attending, do you know if there is a FB page?? I cant find one and I cant start one since I am not friends with anyone yet. Thanks!!

fancyeyes: Since it is on a rolling basis you can apply at anytime. Maybe once all your pre-reqs are done I would apply and then you will be entered into both the spring and the fall semesters.
