Hi seashellgirl! Did you get a call from HR on Feb 3? I haven't heard back yet and was wondering if offers had been made. It sounds like you got a job offer, Congrats!! If you did, would you mind sharing with me when you received the call and what letter of the alphabet your last name starts with? Thanks!

Congrats on your offer! I've applied to the July cohort and just got an email for the online interview. I wanted to find out from you how the process was and what kind of questions were asked of you. I'm very nervous and would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks! Congrats again :-)

i did the video interview last week! how did yours go? i think we're the first group to do that. They didn't give us a time-frame of when we'd hear back. Have you heard anything?

Hi, after completing the video interview, i got an e-mail this morning for the second phase of the interview process. So i will be driving from SF to LA but i have NO idea what to expect, any advice?

Ironiss- did you fill out the online application that came after the invite e-mail. I'm confused how many references we need. I only put professional ones...didn't fill out any license ones.

I haven't filled it out because my inbox told me that that e-mail is SPAM it literally said, "Be careful with this message. It contains content that's typically used to steal personal information." Then it tells you to go to this link, "https://www.virtualedge.com/OnlineApplication/CedarsSinaiMedical/" but when you go there the URL changes and becomes www2. and it looks fishy. also won't let me log on, did yours work?? i'll call the recruiter tomorrow

So i called ----------------- the HR recruiter and he just laughed and said, the majority of their e-mails end up going to SPAM and not to be worried. So i filled out that sheet as best as i could.

ALSO he told me that if we are accepted into the program, we are placed in MED-SURG units for the first 18 months

I'm putting Med/Surg bc that's genuinely where my passion is.. I don't know if I have to specify within Med/Surg (since it seems like someone got docked last year for not being prepared)...

Does anyone know how the open house on Thursday will work? I asked HR and it was still really vague. I guess I don't know what to expect since the video interview questions were so hard..

I also got emailed for thursday's interview and filled out all the forms. How's everyone's one-page essay going? Is everyone preparing for clinical scenario questions or behavioral or both?

i chose gero for my specialty but yes we do med-surg for a while.
