Hi all,

I am currently attending a community college here in CA, finishing up pre-reqs so I can apply to the nursing program late this year.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a CC that has any of the following classes avaliable online:

Perspectives on Death and Dying

Developmental Psychology

Medical Terminology

Personal and Community Health

If anyone knows of a school that has these classes online, please let me know...I am trying to cram some more classes into my schedule as many of these classes on-campus fill SO quickly and I don't have much time left!

My CC, Moorpark CC, offers Medical Terminonology online, however they don't offer any of the others. They do offer a Personal Health class via telecourse. It's really easy and only requires you on campus for two occasions, only for the orientation and final. The class consists of 26 1/2 hour video lessons, a video journal with questions from the video, and a multiple-choice final. I completed the class, and found it an easy A. You can take developmental psych on line at Foothill College. It's Psych 40 (called Human Development). It takes you through the lifespan. http://Http://www.foothill.edu

I took it and really liked the class. They have a forum for discussion and papers to write (you hand them in online), and articles to read. Good luck!
