Any Transfer students new to California?

Hi all,

Im looking to find and see if anyone has applied to Kaplan in San Diego as a transfer student from another nursing school. I recently moved to San Diego from Illinois and am currently in a nursing program at Chamberlain College of Nursing. I put nursing classes on hold and am doing some online classes like ethics and nutrition online with Chamberlain. I am applying to nursing schools here in San Diego hoping I get accepted as a transfer student and I hope most of my nursing classes transfer. If I don't get in anywhere then I will have to go back to finish in Illinois I am in the process of applying to Kaplan now :)

Has anyone been in my position or heard of someone who has or is. I am desperate for any insight :)

Hi, I am a NY student looking to transfer to San Diego so in a similar situation to you. I would just ensure that wherever you are taking your pre-reqs & nursing courses that it be a properly accredited institution with transferable courses. I think that as long as the school is recognized as properly accredited & your grades in the courses are good, the courses should transfer.

Thanks, you too! The application process is stressful enough without having to transfer classes between states; it just makes things more complicated. Let us know how things turn out for you. I am certainly interested in knowing.
