Notice to all applicants awaiting placement:

If you are a single mom who is waiting to get into nursing school, you may be eligible for an opportunity to participate in a single moms nursing class. This class will convene in January of 2008, and will be located at Glendale Community College. It is a weekend / day program that is held all day Friday with clinical on Saturday. The program is sponsored by Glendale Community College and Helping Hands for Single Moms. Helping Hands is providing a scholarship and other benefits. If you are interested in applying, please go to the website: http://www.helpsinglemoms.org. You can download an application and mail it in. Interviews for the program will be held on August 11th and August 25th.

Please take note of the Qualification to apply:

Have a minimum 2.5 GPA

Have at least one child under the age of 11

Not be living with a domestic partner

Be a US. citizen

Be single--not in the process of getting a divorce or living separately
